Hummus

Serves 4-6 as an appetizer

Ingredients

  • 125ml cooked (or canned) and drained chickpeas
  • 1tbs tahini
  • 2tbs olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1tsp cumin
  • 2tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp finely chopped coriander

Method

  1. Puree chickpeas in a blender
  2. Combine the rest of the ingredients and add more lemon juice and olive oil if required to get the consistency that you want
