Fat Free Oat Bran, Raisin and Banana Muffins

This is a great recipe if you want to have a healthy fat free snack – ideal for weight loss or if you have high cholesterol.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups All Bran
  • 0.5 cup Oat Bran
  • 1 1/4 cup fat free milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 chopped banana

Method

  1. Soak the All Bran and Oat Bran in the milk for 10 minutes
  2. add the sugar and egg
  3. Mix all the dry ingredients
  4. Add the raisins and banana
  5. Bake in a greased muffin tray for 20 mins at 180 degrees C
